Suspire // OneCreativeScotland

Suspire, the band we saw and were very impressed with at Rockness last weekend are an interesting bunch. In addition to being great musicians they also started OneCreativeScotland which is a loose network of cool and edgy musical and visual artists. I don't know much about them really but we're going to check their next event out in July. Meanwhile, you can check them out here :

A Recently Completed Video

Here's a video we recently completed - all edited, composed, shot and in some cases featuring 80eight. I think the content speaks for itself. I'm very proud of it.

Rockness :: Lost in Audio

Lost in Audio played an absolute blinder at Rockness - if you were there and you saw them, then you'll know it's the start of something big. They really brought the house down and the cries of 'One More Tune' drowned out the sound of the fireworks....

Rockness Photo's :: Suspire

We went to the Rockness Festival on the shores of Loch Ness, near Inverness, at the weekend to see Lost in Audio play on the GoNorth Stage. We had a great day, feeling our age but being inextricably drawn to anything loud with lasers :)

Before Lost in Audio came on stage we saw Suspire, a great band from Glasgow who had the unenviable task of playing just as The Strokes were coming on the main stage. Despite that they played a great set with good humour, great tunes and presence.

Here's a few shots and you can check them out here ::

The Most Amazing way to show your Photographs

Quality runs through everything we do here at 80eight Photography & Design and after months of searching for a high quality and innovative way of displaying our work we have finally found it.

We are therefore happy to announce that we are now supplying prints on metal, which are framed beautifully in solid wood floating frames. They look simply amazing and seem generate their own light as you look at them. They have to be seen to be believed and are both stunning and contemporary.

We will be offering the metal prints as part of our JawDrop portrait service and of course they can be ordered separately with any shoot.

Sizes range from A4 up to A1, with prices from £75 to £280 and the frames are available in black/white and neutral timber.

The photograph pictured here has been printed on metal and is just stunning. Sally, the young lady in the photograph, just seems to magically glow and is almost three dimensional. If you see these prints and feel the quality of the framing, we know you will be amazed.

Please call us and arrange for a viewing!
