Joanne Ayling :: Fashion Show Update

Well, Kelso has never seen anything like it. The Ballroom of the Ednam House Hotel was jammed packed with over 150 ladies, models and the occasional male performing various menial activities, such as taking drinks orders and taking photographs...The catwalk was seriously strutted upon,  there was what not to wear and all sorts of other girly stuff that I cannot even begin to describe  A fabulous night, enjoyed by all and lots of money raised for a very good cause. And of course, our free gift of a photo-shoot was won by none other than the wife of Kelso's, pre-eminent photographer - Hector Innes! We'll look after her! I promise! Now, where's the dry ice machine, Bo-Peep costume and parachute?

Proud to be supporting Joanne Ayling

The completely fabulous Joanne Ayling Ladies Dress Agency and the equally fabulous Joanne, are holding a charity fashion show at the Ednam House Hotel in Kelso this Friday, and we are very pleased to be supporting them. It should be a fabulous night with 100 tickets already sold (there's a few left) lots of lovely ladies strutting up and down the catwalk, stunning dresses and all set in the wonderful ballroom at the Ednam House Hotel.

Latest Ladies Portrait Shoot :: Christine

The lovely, elegant Christine came to see us for a JawDrop portrait earlier on in the week and we all had a very enjoyable time. Christine was an absolute  natural in front of the camera, the weather stayed good and we got some wonderful photographs. Below, are just a few examples.

Life without Band // Paul from TWA goes Solo

We went along to see The Warehouse Announcement play at the Gifford Uprising Festival at the weekend. They are one of our favourite new bands, it was a lovely evening and....Disaster! Goldie, the guitarist with the band had suddenly come down with glandular fever so the band had to cancel at the last minute. The day was not lost though as Paul, the lead singer, stepped in to play a few acoustic tracks.

We took a slightly shaky video of him playing 'Life without Sleep' - a fantastic track.

New Video // Lost in Audio

We've just completed a new video for Lost in Audio featuring lots of grabbed footage from a recent recording session - all backed by a new acoustic version of one of their best songs 'Back Home'. It really shows the band as they really are - full of life, fun and talent.

Latest Band Shoot // The Warehouse Announcement

Our latest band shoot was with The Warehouse Announcement - a five piece from Eyemouth. They play loud, complex, funky, gritty rock music and are well worth checking out. Earlier this year they organised a US tour and played loads of gigs in New York and beyond, which really shows their ambition. All of them are very talented musicians and Paul, the lead singer has a great presence on stage. They're gonna be huge!!
